What happens when life threats where made against your life and the life of your child?

You would have to call the police and press charges and/or get a restraining order. Or if you or your child are in immediate danger the police should be able to put you in a safehouse. Especially if the threat is from a spouse/former spouse.

I'm really confused. In one post - you have a homeboy who wants to sign over rights of his child; in another you want to adopt your husband's child, who he has custody of; and in this one - you say there are threats against your life and that of your child. Something isn't adding up for me.

Did you call the police when the threats were made?

When someone threatens you,
1. you call the police if they are serious
2. you go and try and get a order of protection.
