Dating after the decree is signed?
Are there potential legal ramifications to dating after the divorce decree is signed even thought the actual marriage end date may be few months away? My ex wouldn't agree to increasing my alimony to pay for insurance but would keep me on for a few months until his renewal period some months down the road. So although we have signed the decree our marriage won't end till then. Meanwhile I have met someone and would be interested in dating them as long as the likely hood of this affecting the divorce are minimal at best.

Legal ? Humm, it can make them mad, and they can refuse to settle and you can spend months or years fighting more in court

There is nothing illegal about dating at any point, including when you were full on married and living together. Its up to you to determine the morality of it and what possible personal ramification it might have with your ex.
