    How to Factorise the following quadratic equation?
    Can anybody please tell me how to solve the following equation?

    k^2 - 8K + 8 = 0

    Since it does not factor nicely, use the quadratic formula.



    Both solutions are real. Just plug and chug

    I assume you know a=1, b=-8, c=8

    The discriminant (b^2 - 4ac) is positive so both roots are real
