Hi,
How do I get a girlfriend? Not an easy question I guess.
Thinking out of the box, is that a question I should even be asking? I mean it sounds like I'm just looking for a crutch.
Advice anyone?

:p just ask the girl you like out!
Be yourself.
Hey,
Well I am myself all the time, I guess. I'm really myself with this girl called Stephanie at school.
But she once told me "I hope you'll never like me as more than friend".
So I guess that's easy enough to understand.

It is. How old are you?
I'm 16 ; 17 soon.
Yea maybe I'm too young for this stuff right?
I had a girl friend last year - total disaster, she was a real b*tch and put me through a lot of pain and trouble.
It's just that I feel the need for someone who is on the same level as me spiritually - I'm not looking for some barbie doll if you know what I mean.

You have plenty of time for the right girl to come along. It's best to focus on the important things in your life so that you will be well put together and accomplished when you find that special someone.
Yea you're right lol it's just that I'm a bit.. socially withdrawn and well it gets to me sometimes..

Then make more friends, sign up for more clubs and/or sports. Those are great places to make friends. Friends that are interested in the same things as you and friends that will teach you something new.
Dude I just be myself make her laugh show her howgreat of a person u ae and the moment will come either she will ask or u will u know when the moment is right
From someone in nearly the same position as you: If you like someone, be yourself and ask them out.
Find someone who has a lot in common with you and that you like, even if you think they don't like you back, it can't hurt to ask.
I've been rejected plenty of times, but let me tell you: It's easier to be told "NO" than wonder "what if"
However, you should not try to make anything too serious right now, and focus on what you are doing with your life, as (most likely) school is the most important thing for you right now, and if anything, you need to make that work first and foremost.
:D:Dhey man what you should do is go to your normal after school activity and look for a girl there or maybe just get around the neighbor hood your gal might be just around the conner just go places you like to go and find someone there and talk to them
Smile Smile Sphira:D:D:cool::cool:
Are you fat? I am, not OBESE(sp?) but 5' 5" and 195 lbs. I know what it's like to be looked down upon and I'd love to help you.
You have to really like this girl and show you are interested, try to show her your good side. If she says she doesn't want to be with you go out with someone else that you could like, show her what a good boyfrend you could be. But also be nice to that girl and say things aren't quite right, don't go out with the backup girl 4 2 long otherwise she will think you are really into her
Not necessarily. It really depends on the context.
If she said that unprovoked, or just ramdonly in a conversation, then I'd agree with you.
However, if he did something like ask her out to dinner or flirt with her, then it may be a serious statement. It's not completely accurate to judge something like that out of context...
Dude I'm having the same problem but the down side is that I graduated I'm also the same age so it's hard...
Date them all. You'll get a lot of no's, but you'll get a few yes's too. Its all about sharing, and having something to share.
Nothing wrong with friends that are female. They can be fun too! They have friends that may enjoy your company too!
Hi everyone,
Sorry for not posting back, I thought this thread was dead lol.
Yea well she could be bluffing, in which case I hope she is.Quote:
Haha, sorry.
She's teasing, if she didn't like you she wouldn't say anything at all and I think you know this. Call her bluff and play along.
Yea actually I'm not so sure. We were texting each other and I asked her if she wanted to go take another walk in this park next to school. It was initially her idea and we did it 2 days in a row and we talked for hours and it was great so I thought we could do it again.Quote:

Then she said that she didn't have time. At the end of the message for no reason she just added that she hopes I'll never like her as more than a friend. I think she's pretty serious though because she seems so into her school work.
She's not a nerd at all but she has good marks and she told me that she hasn't really got time to go out that much, so whatever.
Anyway all of this was WAY back so I don't know anymore.. I kind of gave up. We're good friends now that's all.
Thanks but I actually lost a lot of weight since last September. I went from 83 to 72 kg. I'm not that fascinating but for 180cm I'm not bad.Quote:

I think maybe I'm out of date with my clothes but I don't know.
Let me post a pic, see before and after hehe I was a really ugly and fat guy before but now I think I'm better. Btw anyone here have an opinion on how I look?
I mean I know that relationships shouldn't be based on looks but they do count so what does everyone think (about me now) ? Thanks

P.S.
I know 2006 is hilarious. I was so fat and they used to call me mushroom because of my hair haha
