I just needed to share my excitement. We used to not brush our dog's teeth too often but about 2 months ago I began to wonder just how often it is recommended and found out.. everyday. So after reading why, and everything, that's what we started to do.
And I am so proud of my dog. He hates when we touch his mouth, but he doesn't snap or bite. He'll just scoot back a little trying to get away. So the first couple weeks it took both my husband and I to brush his teeth. After that, it only takes one and he endures it so well. I thought that maybe since he was older he wouldn't adhere too well but he really surprised me. So I just wanted to share how proud I am of my dog and also let all who don't know, you should brush your dog's teeth everyday so they don't develop periodontal disease. It's not fun for you or your dog, and it's just easier to take preventative measures to avoid it. :D
