    Hello People. I have a problem where I have a speed touch modem and a belkin wireless g router. As its not got a wireless card in PC I used an rj45 to the back and it works wonderful. As you know its designed for wireless and I want to be able to connect my laptop via wireless internet connections. I can see the wireless connection on laptop but can't roam or use i.e.. I am very stuck. Can someone Help me. I would like to get a wireless network running in the house I am currently in. and also allow other members to be able to connect there laptops too via wireless internet connections through the router.

    OK I have a couple of things you need to try.

    1/ On your router is the DHCP set to give out enough IP addresses ? No IP conflicts ? Range should be 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.4 at least. (2=desktop, 3=laptop )
    2/ If Wireless: Is your connection encrypted (WEP) or otherwise security enabled ? This kind of issue is usually related to incorrect WEP key.
    3/ Maybe worth manually setting DNS as this can cause issues.
    Try 149.174.211.5 and 195.40.1.36
    4/ Have you tried a repair on your connection (once you have set it for an auto address)?
