I own a 1991 Honda Accord EX during this past winter every time I would start the car and go to school the "S" light would start blinking. I thought it was the sports button but that wasn't it. I also changed the transmission fluid but that did not solve the problem. Now not that long ago the yellow "check" light started to light up not blinking though. I am concerned about it since I have very little knowledge about why those light come up. If you have an idea as to what is happening or why please answer my question. Thanks for reading! :)

The yellow Check Engine Light stays on when a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) has been stored in the ECM (computer). The code reflects that emissions were affected, in some way. Here's how to "read" the code:

When you determine what the code or codes are, tell us and we can likely help you determine what is wrong.
