Internet access without a land line
    Hello,
I just moved and looking to get the internet in my home but I do not want to get a land line. I do have a phone jack and I looked into the AT&T service (DSL without a local phone service) but they do not offer it in my area, Denton 76208. Does anyone know who might offer this service?
    Thanks

Land line? What is that? (just kidding).

    Your two real options are

    1. DSL, or
    2. Cable.

... and those options will depend on what city you are in and what you are willing to spend.

What city are you in and what can you afford to spend on internet access? Sometimes "bulk packages" are worth looking into (not always), so confirm: do you have local land line phone service too?

... and do you want or need to keep it?

You can try Satellite internet. Go to the link below I put your zip in and they have service there. Seems a little expensive and I have to admit I don't know anything about it or anyone who has it.

I would not suggest satellite internet it is expensive and requires a dish to be installed to work and is unreliable I believe that Cable is quicker than DSL.
