    Snapping Round Duct Together
    Hello,

I bought all the ductwork needed to finish my basement, and what I thought was the easy part isn't so easy! I bought 5' round 6" duct from Home Depot. The kind where it is circular, but you need to snap it together to complete the circle. I can NOT get it snapped together! I feel like I've tried everything. Is there any trick to getting it to snap together? I can't even start anything until I get this figured out! Thank you.

Have you gone back to Home Depot and asked then what the secret to this ductwork is?

There is no secret at all you can do it.Try holding it horizontal across your legs and the with 2 hands start the inverted process of getting them together. Or lay it flat and then try to get it.You may have someone help you with the 5 ft lenghts. You can do it.
