I am being sentenced 5 yrs probation tomorrow for a felony (long story, don't feel like talking about it) in NY. After I am sentenced in court, do I get sent straight down to probation? And if so, do they drug test you there on the 1st day after court?

I was sent on the day of sentencing to the probation dept. They didn't give me a drug test, but it is up to them. Its basically a "these are the rules, this is probation yada yada" thing.

I would say try not to pee dirty on your first day of probation, and to take it seriously. Probation sucks, but it is a good motivation to get your life striaght

Each court different, in some a person from probatoin will be at the court hearing, others you go down then, and still others you report in a week or two.

Yes they may drug test you that day, or on your next meeting
