Maytag Performa Washer only spins on 1 of three cycles
We have a Maytag Performa Washer model#PAV2000AWW that washes fine but doesn't spin on the normal cycle we use. I have to move it to the spin on the presoak cycle for it to spin out, then move it back to the rinse cycle to rinse, then move it back to the presoak cycle to spin out the rinse water.
I know that this problem has been addressed on this forum before and it has been suggested that the "speed selecter switch" may need to be replaced rather than the timer.
Does anyone know which of these parts will actually fix this problem and do you have the part number(s)?
I do not have a parts list for my machine and there is none listed on the Maytag website either.
