I have a felony conviction and I'm about to go to college to be a nurse and I know you can't become certified if you have a record and I don't want to go to school for two years and get out and it be a waste of time. I received four years of probation I've already completed one and all my restitution is paid. Can I get off early and how?

Even if you get off probation, you'll still be a felon, and most likely NOT eligible for a nurses license.

It would be my view, that the judge won't even entertain a motion for early release without at least 50% of your probation being complete.

However, your PO should be the one to talk this over with.

The conviction in most States will keep you from being licensed. Whether you are on probation means nothing.

You will not be able to find a job in any sort of health care setting with a felony. Sorry. You'll need to pick out a different career.

I was just recently put on probation for a class A misdemeanor drug parephenalia they gave me a year probation and 15 hours of community service as well as drug classes. I have 5 hours done already and they have me on a schedlue for my hours I do 5 hours every month ill be done in February. I'm tired of waiting I just want to get my hours done but I have to do them on scheduled dates. I paid my fines and probation fees my first probation meeting I ben dying to join the marines since age 5 and I'm finally able to pass the military test but can't join until I'm at least on un supervised non reporting probation. My PO doesn't really like the fact of me trying to join the military how do I. Get non reporting probation or even terminated this is my first affense. Please help me out

The court JUST sentenced you and, I would guess, isn't about to change its mind. The only way to get what you want is to wait.

I didn't mean that recently I was put on probation 4 months ago I'm not asking for termination but if it could happen that would be awesome but what I'm looking for is non reporting probation where I don't have to b monitored by my PO or have to check in wit them. That's all I need in order to be able to go to the military

I am a felon. I also got my nursing license after that. So don't ever think or let any one tell you that you can't do that. If that's what you want to do than do it!
