I just received my college graduation announcement and there is no date on it.. simply May, 2009. I have never received sch a vague announcement and would like to know what college graduation announcement ettiquette relating to the date.

That's odd - it sounds to me like you are not invited to anything, but being asked to send a gift.

Or it could be that it is being sent by a proud parent who wants everyone to know that their child is graduating.
