Put the CD into the new computer's disk drive, wait for it to "spin up'.
You should be offered the "What do you want to do?" window with a list of options, just select "Open Disk"... or whatever option it is that lets you browse the contents of the disk.
If you don't get the window, click on My Computer to open it. Locate the CD drive in the listing and open it. Browse through the listing to find your files.
Now open a second window by clicking on My Documents. Adjust the windows so you can see them side by side.
Highlight the files you want to copy to your new computer in the My Computer window, then drag them over to the My Documents window with your mouse. When you let them go, they will be copied over.
First downloading is the process of transferring files from a remote PC to your PC. So what you did was copy files to disk, not download.
If you just did a straight copy, then just copy them back as JB said. If you dod something different in copying the files explain what you did so we can advise.
Data files can be copied.
Programs need to be installed from the original disks to the new computer.
