    Understanding rate of reaction.
I'm taking my chem class online and it doesn't explain things very well. Can anyone explain rate of reaction for me. Do an example possibly?

It's simply the number of molecules of one substance that react per unit time. It may be written as the number of moles per unit time, but that's fundamentally the same time.
