Which is better, friends to lovers or meaningful dating?
Do you think relationships where you are friends for a long time first is better than a relationship that begins where you're asked out on a blatant date and you know that? Or, do you think that it's better to date and know that you're heading toward a relationship instead of starting as friends who just hang out?

I think it works both ways there is an old saying can't be lovers if you can't be friends. It is better in any relationship I think to have a friend ship where it goes from there is up to both parties involved

It doesn't matter how you started! It's the relationship that matters and the keys that make it a successful relationship [i.e. trust, loyalty, compassion, understanding, honesty, etc.]

If we all fell in love the same way, the story of "how you met" would be boring and overdone.

I agree with Mudweiser. It varies for each couple. However the way of meeting is not the real future determiner. Relationships are hard work. And it must be 50/50.

I have always had really good luck with the "mail order" gals... just go on the internet, pick your mate, and pick the "overnight" shipping... works like a charm...

76% of the time, it works all the time! :D

If you started as friends, then began to date, you skip the first 10-20 dates or something. But if you start from the beginning, you're starting from date #1.

6 months later, does it really matter which date # you started being bf/gf?
