92 Honda Civic LX engine problem.
Someon please answer this question. I just got to work and my "check engine", "battery" and "coolent" lights came on and my car just stopped and wouldn't go any further. What is going on?? I just had an oil change 3 days ago and filled my car with gas 20 min. before this happened. HELP! I'm stuck 20 miles from home!! :(

Based on your description, and provided your car cranks but does not start, I believe your ECM (computer) has failed. Buy a remanufactured Cardone, with a lifetime warranty, from O'Reilly Auto Parts for around $275; Honda wants around $875 for a new one with a 1 year warranty. Disconnect the negative. Battery terminal before installing the new ECM.

ECM is located on the passenger-side kickwall. Pop-up plastic piece along rocker panel and pull back carpeting. Remove kickplate cover and four 10mm nuts that mount ECM to kickwall. Disconnect 3 major connectors from old ECM and replace with new computer. Tighten every thing up and reconnect negative. Battery terminal. Car should now start and run like a top.

Every 10 years or 120,000 miles on Hondas, I recommend proactively replacing ECMs, ICMs, coils, and main relays. The cost is minimal for the reliability and piece-of-mind it buys.

Well it sounds like, since your car stopped, that it died. If this is the case, then your key would have been in the "on" position. When your key is there, all of the lights on the dashboard come on. Was it stalling or anything before it deid?
