I don't think I can take my mom yelling at me and my family much longer
My mom starts yelling whenever she gets angry at someone or something. It is terrifying when she's yelling at me, and sickening when she yells at my father. I love my family, and yet, sometimes I want them to get a divorce so that I can go live with my dad. She always tells me to do something, and then asks me to do something else, and when I move to doing the second thing, she yells at me for not doing the first thing. I have seriously thought about running away, I'm old enough. My mom was forced out of her own house when she was a teen, and let's just say she had a lot of pain when she was younger, and I don't deny that. But I don't like it when she takes out her pain on me and my dad. I hate lying downstairs under the covers crying while she yells at my dad. Please, I'm too scared to tell her about it, and I really need advice... PLEASE!

Have you tried talking to your father about it?

Have a family get together to talk. Don't be scared to voice your concerns. You are a part of the family as much as them and they will probably appreciate you having the maturity to confront the problem.

I have talked to my dad, and when he brought it up with my mom, she yelled at both of us. My mom knows that we don't like her yelling, yet she continues to do it...

Tell your dad what you have told us, and if necessary talk to a trusted teacher, or school counselor.

Yea I understand you, because we're very rich and my mum and dad never thinks about me they just say " You have everything in your life " but they never listen at me they just think that money is happines when it isn't.

But running away is not the solution the solution is to say to them what you feel and try to make your life better the way you want and try to forget sometimes the pain just have fun and do what makes you happy.

    Hope I helped! :)

My mom does that too. And when I try and tell her she doesn't listen. So as allways I yell back, and that gets me introuble, I can't control my anger. She used to be so sweet, then the divorce... NOW ITS ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!! Like I was standing 5 feet away from her. And she was holding her phone, then looked at me in the eyes and screams at me " DONT READ MY CONVERSATIONS!!!!!!!!" and walked away. I Couldn't SEE A DANG THING ON HER SCREEEN! :( What do I do? Talking doesn't work!
