Claiming moving expenses on 1040NR EZ
    Dear Tax Experts,
I am a non resident alien on L1 visa, from India. [I have returned from US to my home country before 183 days.]

I got to know that I can claim moving expenses (i.e. my airfare ticket from India to US).
However, my air ticket expenses are borne by my employer.

    1. Can I still claim airfare expenses for travel from India to US and return to home country?
    2. If yes, do I need to attach any additional documents to claim the expenses?

    Thanks in advance.

As per my knowledge you cannot claim airfare expenses in this case since it was paid directly by employer and you didn't paid any taxes on it.
However if you were paid lumpsum relocation by your employer and you paid taxes on this relocation amount ( it was added to wages in form W2) then you can file form 3903 and claim moving expenses.

From form 3903 "You can deduct the reasonable expenses
of moving your household goods and
personal effects and of traveling from your
old home to your new home. Reasonable
expenses can include the cost of lodging
(but not meals) while traveling to your new
home. You cannot deduct the cost of
    sightseeing trips."

    1. You can not claim moving expenses as it was paid by employer and you did not work for more than 37 weeks.
    2. You can deduct travel expense while in the U.S. It includes transportation, lodging and 50% cost of meals. You can also deduct travel expenses from the U.S. to India. These are itemized deductions. Read: Your U.S. Tax Return: Itemized Deductions
