Singing Water Pipes in a 5 yr-old house?
For no reason whatsoever, my water pipes began to whine/sing about a month ago. It was cold, then hot, then ice storms but no leaking or bursting. My house is only about 5 yrs old so the pipes should be fine. Please tell me how to stop as we've been running water through all of the pipes but it still does the 1-2 sec whine right after you flush or turn a faucet off. HeLp! It's driving me KrAzY!

Does it happen in every faucet in the house ? Or in only one of them ?

Whistling can come from dirty Aerators. Try to clean them. See if that helps...
