I bought a car in April 2005 in August 2005 I was hospitized phoned them told them this I thought my insurance would kick in to make my payments never heard from the leasing company and due to my situation and the time I was very sick I thought everything was taken care of in oct 2005 they took the car now in feb 2009 I got my credit report and it showed me owing 17,000 I disputed it and they changed it to owing 11,000 and repossesion on it they had done anything or sent me anything on the car I want this taken off my report do I have any right I feel since they never cared to do anything about it 4 years ago and still have not send me anything that they can't say I owe on my report in because canada

The whole problem lies in the fact that the car was repossessed in October 2005 and you didn't do anything about the situation until now. You can't blame them for your decision not to take the initiative.

I find it hard to believe that they repossessed your vehicle and have not sent you a single thing in 4 years. Have you moved and changed numbers since the time car was repossessed? Why were they not able to contact you?

That's not going to cut it. You defaulted on the loan; it was your responsibility to make sure the issue was taken care of. I don't see how you can get this off your credit report unless you can prove that the information they're providing is incorrect.
