Went to the bank and the three notaries there told me they can only notarize signatures, they don't notarize copies of documents. What am I supposed to do? Where can I go to get a TRUE COPY stamp with notarization?
Thanks in advance.

If you have pack and mail place like a UPS Store they usually have a notary on staff.
There should be several notaries at the courthouse, too.
Check the yellow pages of your town for notaries. They will notarize any document for a fee of course.
Check the IRS website for authorized acceptance agents. If you are outside the U.S. go to the nearest U.S. embassy.
It depends on what your state laws are. Certain states, for example (California and Texas) will not allow a notary to notarize certain documents such as Passports, Birth Certificates, etc. But you can notarize the signature of the "Custodian" for that document. That may be why some notaries are telling you they can't notarize a copy of your passport. It is illegal to do so in Texas, where I am a notary.
