    Hi D

Does the crank shaft have a flat surface on it or is it ribbed? If ribbed, does locking screw in crank seat all the way in flush to crank housing? If it does, screw is to short and not engaging the crank shaft with enough pressure. Replace with longer screw and install with Lock Tite.

If shaft has a flat spot, make sure that locking screw is seating against this area when tightened down.

Lock Tite is a liquid lock washer. Have used it on gun sight to keep them from coming loose.

    Good luck

    Chuck
