I'm pretty new to growing vegetables and would like to know what's the best way to grow seedlings in a mini hothouse. Do you put it in the sun or shade or even part shade

You can start veg seeds indoors in a sunny spot in the sectioned containers and a good potting soil you buy from the garden centers open in the spring, but to answer your question, a mini hot house, which can be boards and plastic, should be set up in a sunny spot. You would be defeating the purpose if you put it up in the shade.
