I am trying to replace a Delta 1300/1400 shower cartridge and after installing I have no water out. Any tips?

Pull the cardtidge, springs and washers back out. Flush the valve by turning water on with cartridge removed(only for a couple of seconds). Clean cartridge, reinstall and let us know if it works.
