    Heya,
My clock on my task bar is off by a few hours... and a few years :S. How do I fix this.. It happens every so often and I don't know what the problem is :(! Do I need a new battery for it or what (lol). I'm what you call a computer newbie. Thanks.

    Hey there,

I have the same problem as yours but I never even look for a solution except for keep resetting the date and time.

Here is a link to a website I just looked up, and you will never believe the answer. Maybe it is a battery. Lol.

Good link. Just want to add something else:

    • Double click on the time
    • Switch to the "Internet Time" tab
    • Ensure "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server" is checked

This will automatically update your time periodcally.
