Wiring a new Thermostat - 6 wires don't match up.
    I have the following:

Rheem 90 Classic Furance - GAS...
    Mastertrol Mini-Zone-2

And Just purchased a HUNTER FAN 44360 THERMOSTAT

The Current thremostat has 6 wires - O,G,B,Y,R,W
The new thermostat has RH, RC, G, Y/O W/B Y1

RH & RC are wired together on the old one so they're wired together on the new one.

So the old one has Y & O wires while the new one has a combined Y/O terminal.
    Same thing with W & B wires and a combined W/B terminal.

    Anyone have a solution? Thanks!

One other thing, there's this mysterious paragaph in the manual for the TrolAtemp Mastertrol..

"The Zone 1 Thermostat requires a manual changover subbase with "O" and "B" terminals. The "O" terminal must make with R when the subbase is switched to cool mode. The "B" terminal must make with R when the subbase is switched to the HEAT mode"

Best advice you will hear is to take the Hunter back and get you a good Honeywell,or even a whiteRogers,, the Hunter isn`t worth the time it takes to install

Based on your description, the Hunter thermostat doesn't have the capability to manage your system.

Ok. I used the hunter thermostat for the thermostat in the other zone - it was only 4 wires. We tested it for heat and cool and it seemed to be OK - anything wrong with that setup? Sounds like I'll have to find antoher to control the main thermostat..

If the current thermostat is actually using all 6 circuits, any replacement will require the same 6 separate connections. The combined circuits on the Hunter won't work.
