    Garnishment of bank account
Recently I became aware that my funds were garnished at my bank account. I had an old debt here in TX and subsequently I hired an attorney. I was advised by my attorney not to talk to anyone regarding this debt and that he will take care of it, even if I have to pay $100.00 a month. Over two years passed before I became aware that my funds were garnished when I went to eat out and my debit card was declined. I have never received any letters or papers regarding this matter until now that I contacted the lawyers myself. I have tried calling my attorney but have got no response. Do I have any remedy in lifting my garnishment.

If it is a legal garnishment, was done properly there is no way to lift it, just pay it.
You may work out a payment plan with the lender, but why would they, if they already got your money.
