    One way is by using the traceroute command included in most operating systems.

    Expanding on what you mean by "trace" and what you're trying to accomplish may yield better answers.

    If you have the IP address, and need to find out who is the registered owner of the address, try
    Query the APNIC Whois Database

    There is no registered owner for blocks allocated to private IP addressing.
