Me and my ex was only together a short while, but whilst we were together we became really close. Before getting with him I got around a little this has become a big complication between me and him. :mad:. Neither of us trust each other which has resulted in pushing each other away. We have been separated for 2 weeks now but are still in contact with each other and talk about what happen and what could have been. We also talk about where we went wrong in our relationship. He has admitted to me that he likes another girl. This girl happens to be a mate of mine and she has told me she won't let nothing happen between them. He has also said he does not love me no more but still has feelings for me and cares for me. Whilst talking he will make comments like he would never touch me again but later on he will say that he is not ready to give up on us fully. I am getting fed up with trying to sort this out on the phone but he is not willing to meet me to talk. I think he is scared of getting hurt. There is much more to this but I was wondering if I could have your opinions on whether you think there is any hope for us and some tips to try and stable out relationship. :confused: thanks charlie

Lets be clear, you don't have a relationship any more, and after a few conversations, over a few weeks, you still don't.

He obviously has other ideas of greener grass, and he is keeping you around just in case. Sorry he is not honest, and will say anything to keep you hoping and wishing.

Stop talking to him. That's first, as your too available, and too willing to believe his hogwash.

If he was serious, he would be there in person, but its easier to lie from a distance.
