I'm trying to find a foster family for my friend that was in there care when she was a child... she does not know there name or what agency she went through... the only information I was provided with was her name and birthdate... my friend is not in the best of health and doesn't have much longer to live... if anyone can help me I would like to get her wish granted before she moves on to her next life

Your friend can try to contact the Department of Children and Family Services in the state she grew up in or whatever it may be called there. Generally children that are placed in foster care are done so through the state agency. Depending on how many foster families she was with, this may be difficult since she doesn't know the family's name. DCF may not give her the information even if they have it, but if your friend is an adult now and gets the right employee to talk to, she may be able to get them to give her contact information to the foster family so they can then contact her. It's worth a try.
