    Fatty cysts
About a year or so ago my niece said she discovered what she thought might be a fatty cyst on my lower back. Around the same time I had started having back problems which is why I went to her because she is a theripist. Anyway the cyst aches sometimes and I always have sharp pain in my back and down my right leg. I know this is probably a disk problem or something but my question is... could they somehow be related? Someone recently told me that the fatty cysts can grow finger systems and wrap around bones and such. Is this true. By the way, the reason I haven't sought help before now is because we do not have insurance. With that being said, what kind of treatments can I be doing at home on my own?

Sounds like siatica, but you really should get checked out. There are exercises that you can do for sciatica that you can probably find by doing a web search, but you need to know for sure what is going on with your back. Check with your local health department, or children and family services. Larger communities have clinics that charge you by your income, or sometimes free services. Also, you really need to find out if it is a fatty tumor or something else. It is concerning to me that the pain started around the time that you discovered the tumor. Good luck and wish you the best! Curious to learn what you find out.
