    2 months without a period
My husband and I have been trying to have a baby and I haven't had my period for 8 weeks now and the pregnancy tests are still saying negative. Could it still be too early to detect pregnancy? It's really bothering me cause some women can tell from like the first week of a missing period. I know where all different but I'm still concerned. Can someone help? I even went to a clinic and still negative. It's kind of hard being patient when it's been this long without a period and I'm very regular. Like to the day almost.

    Sincerely,
    Anxious wife

Can you go back to the doctor and ask for another test and maybe an ultrasound on your uterus and abdomen? It isn't entirely unheard of to have false negative test results early in the pregnancy.

If you have missed two periods, it is likely the doctor will do a blood test if urine tests are coming up negative.
