Giving up my rights to a child
My son was servied with papers for child support on a child that was never proven to be his child. They where never married and he wantd nothing to do with this girl or the child .

Child support inforcement had theses papers served because the girl is saying the child is his .

My son can not afford to pay for a dna test .
And they are telling him he has to go to the state where this girl lives to have the test done .

Is there another way toget the test done . Or can he draw up paperwork
To give up the rights to this child .

How far away is this court? How much did they say the DNA test costs?

Does he reasonably believe the child is not his?

No - he cannot give up his rights to the child. Even if he could, it would not affect his support.
