How do I layout pek plumbing for installing a water softener?

You want to install water softener on water main line, behind pressure regulator and behind main valve. Depending on design of your house, it can be on side of your house or inside garage. You cut the pipe, lead it to the WS , connect with WS valve, and from WS you reconnect with your main.
