    2005 Pontiac Sunfire Speedometer
The speedometer on my 2005 sunfire has quit. Today I replaced the output speed sensor and it didn't help. What do you suggest next?

    Thoughts:

. Check all underdash and underhood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Check printed circuit board (PCB) and clean connector.

    . Clean VSS connector.

. Clean main ECM ground, check for an open between the VSS and main ECM ground, check for open between VSS and underdash fuse box.

If problem persists, you'll likely have to replace the PCB.

Thank you and sorry for the elementary questions... how costly is a PCB?

Not really sure. Check with RockAuto.com, but it may be a dealer-only part.
