My boyfriend is in a holding tank in Missouri for looking at porn on the internet and then ask his P.O. and counsler for help.He was arrestted within 4 days and has been in a holding tank for the last month.His P.O. has recommended that he has to go back to prison to serve the rest of his time--3 years-How long does it take the Perole Board to make a decision and do they always follow the P.O.s recommendations??

In addition to the above, you have to be looking at kiddie porn for it to be illegal unless the conditions of the person's parole prohibit it. How did this guy get caught-there is porn all over the Internet and unless it was kiddie porn I don't see how anyone would know or care what he is doing on his computer? Violations of parole can take months to come up for a hearing depending on how crowded the system is in your state. I was a probation and parole officer in Maryland and the system here is jammed.

He does have an Attorney but the attorney doesn't answer questions for me because my boyfriends family is paying him.As for the porn it was adult porn but my boyfriend told his counsler and she told his P.O. also it was a condition of his perole (he could not look at porn) he was trying to get help and had asked for extra counlseling but ended up in prison.

Let me see, he was ordered not to look at porn, knowing he could go back to prison, he looked at it anyway, and on top of that, he confessed to it.

Sorry but sort of sounds like he was asking them to send him back or thumbing his nose at them saying I don't care what the rules are, I will do what I want.

So what does boyfriend say, ( after he talks to attorney) when you talk to him on the phone ?

But he should have a hearing most likely with in 30 days, but I have seen it take up to 120.

I would assume ( guess) they will come in and take the computer to prove the address viewed, but not possible.

He is a sex offender so yes hie perole officer said that he could not look at porn,go to strip clubs,etc. He had went to his counsler and requested extra coulseling before he looked at the porn. He knew that he was cycling and was asking for help but his counsler would not help.
His attorney has said that we have to wait for the perole boards decision.But that when the decision comes in he can deny it and go to court from there.

Your changing your story you said he '' looked '' porn then you said '' before he looked'' which one is it. I agree that he should confess to that kind of stuff if it is against his PO requests. He should have said I have been itching to look or watch it can I get some help. He had already at that point violiated his PO so therefore "get in the van im halling you to jail". Common sense!
