My brother is 19 and about to leave the house. He was supposed to leave last year but my mom guilted him into staying for another year. She wants so bad for his friends and mine to like her that the more she tries the worse it gets.She made a Facebook and is always sending us stuff and adding our friends and talking to them. She adds people we know even if we haven't seen them in six or seven years and even if we don't like them. My brothers girlfreind is like a cener point for her attention and she is embarrassing and never leaves them alone.She always wants in with whatever they are doing and even calls his girlfreind just to talk. That is Creepy.He has tried to talk to her and so have I but she just pulls another guilt trip and ignores it. Please help. I love my mom but she is my mom not my sister and not my brothers bestfreind.How can I get that through her head?

As a 16 year old, I feel the same way sometimes. Although I don't think my mom takes it as far as yours.

I think talking to her is the best, but you'll have to be careful.
