    Computer won't turn on
I just got my computer yesterday from my mother inlaw. She just got I back from being fixed. I don't know what was wrong with it then, but it turned on fine last night. Now I tried to turn it on and the light on the tower is yellow not green and the monitor light just keeps flashing what. I tried turning it of with the on off button and I tried unplugging it. What do I do?

What make and model? What operating system?
It could be that the computer is asleep or in hibernation With the computer plugged in try holding the power button down for twenty seconds them press it once and release it.

When did you notice this problem. Did you recently change any of your hardwares? Some or at least one of your devices are malfunctioning or not installed properly. Check the memory modules, check the video card and check all other cards one by one and fix them well. If it is not solving your problem then it could something related to your mother board, I believe yellow usually means faulty hardware and/or dying MOBO.
