What is the Law in the state of Georgia for a 21 year old guy
To date a 17 year old girl without Parental Permission? Would
I be braking the law?

Age of consent is 16 in Georgia. Here is an excerpt from the latter link.

The age of consent in Georgia is 16 as specified by Section 16.6.3 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
Also stated in the Criminal Code of Georgia 16.6.3 subsection (c), if a person is "at least 14 but less than 16 years of age and the person convicted of statutory rape is 18 years of age or younger and is no more than four years older than the victim, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor."

You can also be charged with custodial interference if the parents at some point tell you to STOP dating the girl - and you continue to date her.

We have not even talked about sex, We were just wanting to know what the age of consent way in Georgia. We love each other but we don't want to do the wrong thing to

Thanks for your answer and help. So I am three years older then her, she is 17 I am 20
But I will be 21 in July and that will make me four years older then her. So I would ne braking the law to date her right now. That is all we do is date no sex I respect her more then that. But I don't get it. It OK in Georgia to put a 17 year old out on the street by your parents but it not OK for two people 17 and 20 years of age to be together. But O love her so I can wait till she is 18. Thanks again.
