    New Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan...
I bought a new Hampton Bay celing fan w/a built it light kit and remote. After installing it the lights work fine, but the fan only works on the low speed. Is there a master speed setting in the fan that needs to be set on High? There are no pull chanins.

    Thanks.

Not if there are no pullchains. Take it back. Are you sure you are switching speeds properly on the remote?

Well what I tried to do to verify it wasn't the fan I did the following:

    1. disconnected the wireless device and used a 2 slider fan/lamp manual controller. The lights worked fine but the fan only worked in the medium position, but it really didn't seem that fast.

    2. I tried a dual single pole dimmer and either the lights work or the fan works.

*at least I know that the fan works on full speed and the lights do work.

    Suggestions?

The fan has no pullchains yet you were able to use it without the remote receiver?

Still sounds like a bad receiver.

I finally wired it correctly, but I also found out I had a bad manual switch. The wireless setup is straight forward wiring but the fan only ran in the low speed.

Currently I have a manual switch and both the lights and fan are working correctly.

    THANKS!

I'm not sure what you mean by manual switch.. . But I'm glad you got it working.
