I have spend the past two days in a crazy sulk because of a joke. My girlfriend went for coffee with her gay friend wherein the coffee shoppe they saw a "hot guy" serving the coffee and the buns. A little later I met up with them and they were raving on about this amazing guy. It was obviously in good humour and as such I took it.

Later in the afternoon over some beers they were still joking about going back another day to check him out. Eventually the joke progressed to them "sharing him" her on one end and her friend on the other. I couldn't bear this image but said nothing.

In the evening I brought it up with her, and she hadn't thought it anything serious and I trust her and know that she loves me and that there was no real "threat" to me. But I shared my feelings and she understood. When pressed a little further she said that for a brief moment she was turned on by the thought of this "hot" guy on top of her.:(

Well this drove me nuts. It has taken my pride ages to get over this. Does this mean that this other guy did something for her that I don't? How should I treat this?

Just as men like to fantasize about hot women, women like to fantasize about hot men...she would NEVER have acted on this hot guy...she shared her feelings with you, and you trust her. Let it go man!

Come on man are you telling me that not once, not one little time ever in your relationship the thought of another woman has ever turned you on. Please don't try to sell that here. Just calm down, I think the reason this has really got to you is because the joking went a little to far. Your girlfriend and her friend probably should not have gone to the point of them sharing this guy. That was in really bad taste on her part. I bet if the tables were turned she would have hit the roof.

With that being said it was just a joke, she very obviously was just joking she did it right in front of you because she feels secure in your relationship. Take comfort in that. Its hard to think of your woman doing that with any other guy but just remember there is a big difference between thinking something and acting on it.

Let it go she was just fantasizing as you I'm sure you do about hot women sometimes. But I do agree she took it to far. You should remind her that she needs to respect your relationship a little better and tell her to try to put herself in your shoes when her and her friend were raving about this "hot" guy. Ask her how she would feel.

Move on-fantasy is just that.

True, I'm sure she would feel about the same as you if you told her some "hot" girl turned you on when you thought of her being "on top of you" it would make her probably feel ugly..
