Is my ex playing mind games with me?
I split up with my ex over a year ago after being with him for a year and a half, he was a manic depressive, very controlling and confused about whether he was bisexual or not! He was draining me emotionally and although I loved him and missed him (and still do) with all my heart I decided I could not live in such heartbreak and turmoil. He started contacting me via texts and emails about 6 months later saying he loves me and can't be without me blah blah.. Of course I jumped at the chance to meet up with him as I still have these mad feelings of love for him.. basically nothing happened between us.. we talked for hours and we had the "Closure" talk.. He agreed never to contact me again and I went on my way heartbroken and confused! 2 months later he contacted me again saying he loves me blah blah... I poured my heart out to him and told him I love him too much and his contacting me was breaking me up inside as I was trying to get over him... so he stopped contacting me... NOW.. 3 weeks later he contacted me again saying he misses me.. I told him I think we should get back together because I love him so much.. he said NO!! He said we can never be together again, SO WHAT IM TRYING TO WORK OUT IS WHAT THE FRIGG HE WANTS WITH ME?? PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY ADVISE ME??

The chances are he is still all of those things. That's why one day he wants you back and the next he doesn't. He probably also wants to see if you still care and now he knows you do, he'll probably try and play with your emotions a bit more.

He is definitely getting a thrill from seeing that he still has control over you. For your own good, end all contact with him now. If he calls, emails, texts, etc... DO NOT RESPOND! He is playing games with your emotions.

Stop responding to him, and break the cycle. After a while, he will get the hint, and leave you alone.

Why does he do it? Because you let him.
