It been 2 and a half year that I have been trying to get pregnant with my husband. No doctors can find out with wrong with me. Their opinion was that might has to do with " Imbalnce hormones". As of today I haven't had my period for 7 months. All pregnancy test were negative.:confused: I would get pregnancy symptoms, stomach pain etc. I have no other issues that going through my body. My husband and I are dying just to have one kid, Just one kid. We want a boy. Also and I would like to add that I don't have problems ovulatin because the doctor says 6 months ago during my ulta sound she could tell that I'm ovulating. My husband is not the problem, he been tested fine.So what do you think that's wrong with me?

Sounds to me like it could be stress.

That being said, have you seen a fertility specialist? What is your age? Have you ever been on any form of birth control, and if so, what kind.

Just to make you feel more relaxed, I did not have a period for 2 years and all of the sudden I was 4 months pregnant with my daughter. Your story sounds much like mine.

I understand that you want a boy, but you get what is given to you. There is no way around that.

Have you had a hormone test? It may be time to do so.

I been hearing that for the last 3 years about me being stress.. Im Not STRESS! I love my life. Im 20 years old right now.Yes, I have been on birthconrtol pills for two years because I HAD to;To be able to get my period everymonth. I was on Yasmin 28(ever heard of it?) Anyway, once I stopped Completely ( because I ready to start a family), I couldn't get my period at all. The doctors wanted me on the pill to get my cycle regulated but I told them no because I wanted to get pregnant.. I don't even remember getting my first period because my mother took me to the gynecologist telling her that I'm 15 years old and haven't started my period. And yes I have been to a fertility specailist, she keeps perscribin me with ovulation or some kind of hormones pills, which are out of my budget to pay for. I tried it for about a month and I still haven't gotten pregnant. I wish I could do pregnant naturally but I guess I cant. About wanting a boy, it just a wish but Whatever God gives me boy or girl as long I have a blessing in my arms.;) No I had not have a hormones test but I'm not health insured now.. I'm waiting for it to be process.. About your daughter, were you trying to get pregnant when you didn't have your period for 2 years? ( If it appropriate to ask):)

Clomid is probably the med that the doctor prescribed. Yes, it is expensive, but it is known to work well.

Although you may love your life, there are stressors that could be involved that you do not realize because maybe you have had them for so long that they have pretty much become unidentifiable as stressors.

A hormone test is expensive, but not as expensive as the hormone pills you are talking about.

Also, consider this: If it is expensive for the hormone tests and the hormone pills, how will you afford a baby who has to go to the doctor constantly for the first few months of life just for well-baby check-ups, as well as diapers, formula, clothes, etc?

And, lastly, no I was not trying to get pregnant when I got pregnant with my daughter, or my 4 year old for that matter. It is a medical fact that sometimes you have to stop "trying" in order to get pregnant. The "trying" in itself can cause stress you don't realize.

I am concerned that you do not have the money for these tests, yet you are ready to bring a baby into the world that you cannot afford.

Without criticizing, please consider the financial responsibility of a child It is a lot more than just love and attention.

:rolleyes: Well... I have to decided to put the baby on hold, I'm in training to become a medical assistant and I do ask myself " am i ready to bring a baby out in this world yet?". The teacher lecture about fullfilling your goal first then think about bringing a baby into the world. Education do come first in my life. I think I wanted a baby so badly because I really wanted to be a mom and achieve my goals. Yeah yeah yeah, maybe I can't do both but I always think POSITIVE. :( I'm just so worried that because I never actually had gotten pregnant yet and I feel like I can't have kids. If I had known that I had gotten pregnant before but maybe had a miscarriage or something then I wouldn't even have to be worrying about "tyring" to get pregnant. I don't even know that I could even get pregnant. That is what going through my minds. Is it possible at my age that I couldve maybe "lost" my ovaries. Or my ovaries just isn't good anymore?

You are so young and your whole life ahead of you. Get the education you need and work for a few years. Then decide if it is time for you to have a baby. They are a huge responsibility and it goes beyond the 18 years that a lot of people think. Mine are 31 & 29. I worry about them just as much as I did when they were babes in arms. I wouldn't trade motherhood for the world, but it isn't to be taken lightly. It's is a lot of hard work.

Yes, you are young. And I applaud you for waiting to finish your education. I am 42 and a mother of 4, (oldest is 20 and yougest is 4). I am in nursing school right now and it is the hardest thing I have ever done.

I am not sure what you mean by "lost" your ovaries, but if you mean they just went away, no, that is not possible. There is always a possibility that there is something wrong with your ovaries, illness, injury, etc. But you are young. I had my last at 38 years old. So you have a good long time to get your career on track and realize your goals before you have a baby.

I think you have made a very wise decision.
