    Should I contact a doctor?
Don't know if this question is under the right topic. I had my little girl in 2005, about two weeks after I gave birth I started hemmoraging, and to have a D&C done. Was supposed to schedule a check-up appointment with my doctor, and never did, big mistake on my part, but my insurance ran out and didn't have the money to pay up front. Ever since then when I start my menstural cycles every month, I pass blood clots as big as tennis balls or bigger. I know it's normal to pass blood clots but is it normal for them to be that big? Also I'm in extreme pain when I'm mensturating. I had always had problems before that, but it has gotten worse since the surgery. What I was wondering is, should I contact a doctor right away about my situation?

Well you have waited four years, if you aren't currently menstrating I don't see the immediate need, but you do need to call today and schedule an appointment. I don't think you really need us to confirm that, but no tennis ball sized blood clots aren't normal every month.
