I have changed my status from F2 to H1b(Oct 2008), because I don't have job want to change my status to previous status F2. I would like to know what is the procedure and what documents do I need?

You file the COS to F-2 on form I-539 with documentation of your spouses F-1 status (I-20, current semester registration, tuition payment, school ID, etc.), marriage certificate and that you have otherwise maintained your NIV status.
