I am 3/4 of the way of completing my DWI probation. I have had an honest run with no problems (clean UAs, no violations)

Last month when reporting I was told to submit a UA. I had no objections to doing so, because I do not use drugs. When I was given the form it said ETG. Not knowing that this was an alcohol test I took the UA. I had drinks the night before, but not enough to make me appear hungover or raise an suspicion. Assuming I did test positive for ETG what should I expect to happen ? Will they take me in front of the court for merely failing for alcohol while on DWI probation ?

It will be up to the Probation officer, if they asked you before the test, were you drinking, and you said no, then you also lied.

But normally they will not revolk you on the first test but may for a 2nd

I was asked if I had any drugs or alcohol. I stated "no". I also am presrcribed to medication that is not supposed to be mixed with alcohol. With alcohol being more "socially acceptable" but still a violation of probation and not supposed to be mixed with my medication... could this really complicate things ? I have a very good relationship with my probation officer so I don't know how this will affect that...
