    Water Intrusion
I own a condo. My next door neighbor a tenant left two water faucets on upstairs when his water had been shut off. When the water came on the condo flooded in turn flooding my unit. Lots of damage, fans, cut drywall etc. I turned his water off and reported to the landlord. Now their insurance company is not accepting the responsibility. They will only fix the wall. My carpet downstairs is ruined. Discolored. What on earth am I to do?
My insurance deductible is high and the coverage is very bad due to living here so long and not updating policy.

    Thanks

So you sue the neighbor, win and force either him or his insurance to pay

Unfortunately I can see his insurance not paying since this was an issue of negligence.

I'm not sure if you have to sue the tenant or the landlord, best to sue both. Of course, if the insurance won't pay they may not have the money.

    It is just me again.
The landlord insurance said they will pay for the adjoining wall. So, I sue the tenant and the landlord? Going to be a busy Monday.

Thanks for your help and advice..
