03 yukon xl check engine light
I have posted about this problem before. I changed the maf, plugs, all o2 sensors, fuel filter and check for vacuum leaks. It stopped after each one, but my wife and I notice that it comes on when we put gas in it, as soon as we turn it on after pumping the gas and making sure the cap is on tight, it still comes on. Can anyone offer any advice?

The "check engine" light indicates a malfunction code has been detected by the computer. In our area, most of the auto parts stores will use a code reader to read that code & tell you the possible components that would cause that error in hopes that you will buy the parts from them. This service is typically free. Replace those items one at a time or all of them at one time.

It's important to not overfill the gas tank on modern-day vehicles. Stop filling the tank, when the nozzle clicks off. Otherwise, you risk damaging the emission vapor canister. Instead of excess vapors going into the canister, raw gasoline does. Invariably, irrepairable damaged results. If this is the situation, repairs can run $450 to $800. This could easily explain the codes being thrown.
