    I cant save or download anything?
    I just got a dell mini 9 inspiron with ubuntu. Any I can't save a downloaded file or lokk at it. I have no external drive or usb so how do I restore my laptop to factory settings?

    "It's so simple that it doesn't need a thread. I ordered my Mini9 with Ubuntu. After playing around with multibooting for a few weeks, I screwed something up so I restored it to factory default with the Ubuntu restore DVD that came with the system. It was an out-of-the-box experience. This restore DVD restores your whole computer to the factory settings. If you are multibooting with OSX, XP, and Ubuntu and for some reason you need to restore Ubuntu, the restore DVD will wipe out all parititions on your SSD and rereate the Dell Utility and Ubuntu partitions."

    I have the restore disk but no where to put it?? How can I do this without having another computer or a place to put the restore disk??

    From your machine where indicated, and then proceed to either customer serivce

    Try to find out your laptop recovery disks and booklet where you find that it will tell you exactly how to do it and recover disk.
